Please welcome longtime Farragut resident and former University of Tennessee, SEC quarterback, Bobby Scott. Bobby was quarterback at UT from 1967-1971, leading them to an SEC Championship in 1969 and to a 4th place national finish in 1970. He went on to play for 11 years with the New Orleans Saints. He then spent 2 years playing in USFL for the New Jersey Generals and Chicago Blitz.
Bobby and his wife, Pat, always kept a home in Knoxville knowing that’s where they wanted to raise their family and put down roots long term. He has built a love for the Farragut community in his kids and grandkids - who have all made their home in the Farragut community, as well.
Bobby has been a staple in Vol football radio and tv shows since retiring from Football—quick to remind folks that he never lost to Alabama. He loves the sidelines still and spends most of his free moments chasing his grandkids from ballfield to ballfield. In 2022, Bobby was inducted into the Sugar Bowl Hall of Fame. Always an eternal optimist when it comes to UT football, Bobby is proud to be a Vol for Life.
